The thrill of seeing my book was mixed with great anxiety. The box arrived in terrible shape. Not only were the corners crumbled, but there were gaping holes. I crossed my fingers and prayed that the books weren’t damaged. I slid the blade of the scissors carefully across the tape lines. One side of the box fell open. Relief!
