365 Days of Grief: A Heartfelt Tribute

365 Days Without You

Three hundred sixty-five days of tears I’ve cried,
damp cheeks that never fully dried.
Swollen eyes that ache each night,
searching shadows for your light.

A stuffy inhale, a broken sigh,
chapped lips that whisper your goodbye.
My throat still tight with words unsaid,
your name repeating in my head.

A heavy chest I cannot free,
each heartbeat drags your memory.
A hollow space you used to fill,
now gapes and aches and lingers still.

This racking pain won’t ease or part,
it curls itself around my heart.
And breathless longing, sharp and true,
still reaches out… and finds no you.

Spring Showers And Reading Hours

Spring shower and reading hours. Here’s what I finished in April.

Penelope Sky Betrayal Series. Mafia Romance with muscles, drama, love, thrill, and food. I love a series that gets better the further you get into it. I’m looking forward to finishing this one with It Pains Me and It Destroys Me

Sara Cate – Loved Give Me More, which is exactly what I need. More of this series. More MFM.

And Maren Moore’s Sincerely, The Puck Bunny, because every month should include at least one hockey romance! There’s a secret that could destroy them, but it didn’t detract from the love building between them.

The Idea of You – this isn’t my first time reading, but the angst of the heartbreak hits so hard. I love a romance that hurts.

I threw in a few light-hearted books. Susan Mallery’s The Bookstore Diaries and And Now Back To You.

Best Reads of March: Spicy Stories & Non-Fiction Gems

After a rocky start to the year (book-wise), I found my happy place again.

Thanks to Sierra Simone’s New Camelot Series. These spicy scenes do an exceptional job of exposing vulnerability and desire like no other.

My Vampire Plus-One was the second in this series and the best of three, in my opinion

I decided to pick up an oldie but a goodie and read Laid Bare by Lauren Dane

I even managed to read three non fiction books.
