Eve Carter takes the reader on a roller coaster of a ride. I went from being disgusted by Jesse, to feeling bad for Jesse, to liking Jesse, to being happy for Jesse, to caring about Jesse, and to worrying about Jesse. I really liked how the author dealt with the concept of using Jack Daniels as a therapist. It was a healthy balance of comedy and sarcasm.
Books, that leave you hanging at the end or with a huge cliff hanger, should come with a warning sign. WARNING: HAVE NEXT BOOK IN SERIES IN HAND OR SUFFER FROM ANTICIPATION.
