Today is one of those days. It’s difficult to get back into things after a holiday weekend. I need some extra caffeine to get me moving this morning.
Per my usual order, Ube Coffee is my number one choice.
I love these cute glasses from Boba Pup!

🍀 St. Patrick’s Day Wasn’t Ready for Them
JD, Ian, and Sasha share a passionate, polyamorous love. Behind closed doors, it burns hot. But outside, judgment looms. At a tense St. Patrick’s Day party, condemnation erupts, threatening to tear them apart. Sasha is fired-up to fight and defend their engagement.

Total: 16 books
Thoughts about my haul:
It had been a while since I read anything by Christina Lauren. Like potato chips, once I had one, I couldn’t stop. I read My Favoirte Half-Night Stand, The Unhoneymooners, and Dating You Hating You
I read Navessa Allen’s Caught Up. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I liked this book more than Caught Up
If you like hockey romances, add Hard Edge by Lainey Davis to your TBR.
I got sucked into Kate Stewarts’s series. I enjoyed Flock, but it ended on a cliffhanger. Ugh!
I finally tried my first Emily Henry book, Happy Place
If you’re a fan of the show Scandal, I suggest reading Katy Evans’ Mr. President
I’m still working my way through Rina Kent – I really enjoyed God of Ruin, but God of Fury is still my favorite of the series.
Pride isn’t something that ends on June 30. While June is filled with parades, rainbows, and support, the LGBTQIA+ community deserves support throughout the year. The calendar is filled with powerful moments that deserve attention and respect. Let’s keep the spirit of Pride alive all year long, because being seen, heard, and loved doesn’t stop when the month ends.

What does Love is Love mean to a spicy romance author?
Every story, queer, straight, poly, or undefines, deserves its happy ending.
There aren’t limits on who gets to fall, burn, ache, or belong.
Every kind of love matters on the page.
I write romance because love is love. No exceptions. Just heart.
This spicy author and fierce ally is here for the love, the heat, and the freedom to be unapologetically you.
Let’s celebrate every story, every kiss, every truth.

Quote from Defending Engagement by Liz Ellyn
A bold, passionate polyamory romance in the heart of Chicago.

I’m posting this Pride 2025 message because silence emboldens h@ters. Homophobia shows up in laws, families, and all over the internet.
Visible support matters. This might be a small post, but it’s a statement of support and safety.
Now more than ever, we have to show up against all the h@te in the world.

As polyamory becomes more visible in modern society, I found myself wonder: Which came first, polyamory or monogamy?
It turns out that polyamory actually predates monogamy, rooted in early human lifestyles and survival needs.
My next question: Is polyamory making a comeback to meet some modern societal need? It’s clearly not the only factor, but it might be part of the reason we’re seeing more people explore non-monogamous relationships today.
Curious to hear your thoughts: Are we evolving back toward something older, or creating something new?
