The thrill of seeing my book was mixed with great anxiety. The box arrived in terrible shape. Not only were the corners crumbled, but there were gaping holes. I crossed my fingers and prayed that the books weren’t damaged. I slid the blade of the scissors carefully across the tape lines. One side of the box fell open. Relief! The books survived the shipping.

The merging of two of my favorite things: coffee and color. There’s PURPLE in my coffee! How cool is that? This Ube Coffee at Tea Percent was amazing with Ube paste, organic fresh milk, and fresh brew robusta coffee. Also shown in the image are a Creme Brûlée, a second Ube (with drinkable mocha), and Oreo.
