Misuse of the Oxford Comma is a pet peeve of mine.

In the example above…

With the Oxford comma: My parents, plus two legendary authors

Without it: Surprise! My parents are Stephen King and Jane Austen. Talk about a plot twist!

Without the green Oxford comma in the image, the narrator is claiming that Superman and Wonder Woman are their parents.

With the green Oxford comma, the narrator is claiming that they have a few heroes: their parents and Superman and Wonder Woman.
