Hands Down – A 5 STAR Book. It was a fantastically fun page turner. It was better than even being a guest at Zane and Maggie’s event. In this short novella, the author covers every emotional angle from each character’s perspective without repeating the characters’ thoughts but also not skimming over what could be complicated feelings. It was fun, filled with humor, and had an excellent dose of hot and sexy. I’m not usually a fan of novellas, but this author ROCKED IT! I can’t wait to continue with this series!

I love love love this book! Without a doubt a 5 star book. As a reader, I was pulling for Brody and Jessa to get together from the first page. I was rooting for Jessa in spite of the fact that she was a supermodel. Typically, that I would automatically hate this kind of character. However, she was riddled with self esteem issues that made her real and likable. I respected Brody as his internal compass always pointed North, even if he walked along a diverted path.
There’s heat and angst in spades! I love how we learn about the progression of their relationship through the years that started during the age of adolescence. The way the characters acted were age appropriate throughout the book.
There are plenty of unexpected turns in this book. And don’t bother trying to guess the ending – great ending.

I listened to this audiobook after listening to the author’s very popular TED Talks. As for the audiobook, the long title is reflective of a long winded book. The content of the book is truly interesting and most definitely worth reading. However, SKIP the audiobook! The most disappointing aspect was that the author does not actually narrate her own book. The reason why I chose to read the book was because her Ted Talks were amazing. She is extraordinarily charismatic. It was a huge loss in her audiobook.
It is very difficult to rate this book. The audiobook I would only give a 2.5 (round to a 3). I kept increasing the speed to try and get through the book more quickly. The standard book I would give a 4. The content is great, but I still felt it was a little long and repetitive. But listening to her Ted Talks, I would give her a 5.

This book had great originality but I lost interest when a battle ensued with a snake-like creature and was then remedied with yet another snake. Admittedly, I really don’t like reptiles.
As a romance novel, the pull between Irene and Bash was authentic. Despite the elements that were off putting, the romantic elements were good enough that I was inclined to finish the novel. This is actually saying quite a lot as I really really despise reptiles.
This was the only book that I have read in this series and I felt as if I was missing a critical element.

This review is months overdue, which is no indication on how much I enjoyed this book. If you have read my other reviews of the Sinners on Tour series, you would know that I am a huge Trey fan. I was thrilled to finally get to see the threesome of Trey, Reagan, and Ethan find their happily ever after. Based on the characters state of distress and lack of comfort with their sexuality, the majority of this book focuses on Reagan and Ethan. Each of them had to trudge uphill to openly embrace their relationships. I enjoyed the story but would have liked it more if Trey was more of the focus. Also, I didn’t think the ending was befitting the characters. While I savored the story, I was a bit disappointed. Nonetheless, I still would categorize this as a MUST READ book for fans of the series.

First off, I listened to the audio book that was done by Amy Schumer. I would highly recommend the audio over the regular book as Amy’s well-honed timing is a true art.
Listening to this book was like eating a gallon of chocolate peanut butter cup ice cream. The ice cream is cool and refreshing, but it is really those tastey treats of candy sprinkled throughout that makes the dessert delicious. Did I mention that I’m lactose intolerant? So after eating the entire carton or reading her book, I vowed to never listen to her comedy routines in the future. I had more than enough of Amy Schumer. However, there were enough of those candy bites or humor to warrant a rating of 3 stars.
Her overuse of the word footnote started causing me to have an involuntary tick.
A couple of highlights included an explanation of her IQ and an incident with Men’s Health magazine. She explains that when she took an IQ test she tested as a genius in half the categories and incompetent (something to that effect) in the other half. After listening to her book, I would have to agree with her intelligence assessment. She can be an amazingly well spoken individual. The way in which she deals with an awkward situation with Men’s Health magazine demonstrates her high intellect and gift with words.

This is a MUST READ! Okay, I would probably say that anything that is about Soren is a must read. But this really is worth it! I mean what was going through Soren’s mind when he first met Eleanor? The reader gets to be the fly on the wall for both Soren’s and Eleanor’s confessions. What could Eleanor have done that made her feel guilty? Bottom line, this book book is worth the price of admissions.
