While many people talk about the goal of compersion in polyamory, it is very natural for feelings of jealousy to arise.

Both emotions can occur simultaneously.

Jealousy doesn’t mean that polyamory is failing. The key is to communicate openly about it and address the underlying triggers through self-reflection.

Compersion is a bonus in polyamory, not a requirement.

Polyamory thrives on consent, communication, and mutual respect, not specific feelings.

Hello 2026

I’m looking forward to a much better year
I’m 115,000 words into my WIP
I think it will be a lot of fun to edit
I can’t wait to get my manuscript into hands of beta readers
And hopefully catch the eyes of an agent

Spicy Red Hot Popcorn Recipe

Ingredients:

12 cups of popcorn (1 batch of airpop popcorn sprayed with cooking spray and salted)

1/2 butter

1/4 corn syrup

1 1/4 c Red Hot Candies

Instructions:

  1. preheat oven 250, spray cookie sheet with cooking spray
  2. In a saucepan, combine butter, corn syrup, and red hots, boil for 5 minutes
  3. ACT QUICKLY & CAREFULLY as the syrup is VERY HOT but hardens quickly
    Place 1/2 of popcorn in extra large glass bowl, pour half of hot syrup over popcorn, pour rest of popcorn into bowl, pour in rest of hot syrup
    Stir with a metal spoon to coat as much popcorn as possible, it’s okay if not perfectly coated
  4. Dump coated popcorn onto cookie sheet
  5. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes
  6. Remove from oven and break up any clumps of popcorn while cooling
  7. Enjoy!
